Vail Valley at a Glance

The Vail Valley stretches East to West some 20 miles from East Vail to Edwards (and another eight miles up to Cordillera), encompassing six ski-lift portals at the two main ski mountain village of VAIL and BEAVER CREEK and a variety of surrounding neighborhoods.  The assortment of accommodation options is extraordinarily diverse in a broad range of prices, sizes, and quality.  The number of hotel or lodge rooms is rather limited as most guests come to the Vail Valley for 5-10 nights and prefer the comfort of more spacious condominium units.  These are mostly privately owned, range in age from 30 years old to new construction or newly remodeled, and are fully furnished (in a variety of styles and comfort) complete with bedding, towels, and fully equipped kitchens. Many have fireplaces.  Maid service can be daily, semi-weekly, or weekly.

The primary mission of the Vail Ski.Net is to help Demystify all these choices and recommend the best possible options for your specific needs.  We want you to get what you anticipate at an acceptable price.  No surprises!

Despite our best efforts, our staff cannot visit every individual unit within each condominium association.  Owners often make unannounced changes and sometimes there are upkeep problems.  So our ranking system is for the project in general and not every component unit.  However, we offer a Personal Inspection Guarantee!  With a non-refundable deposit of $100 towards accommodations, our staff will visit your selected units of choice to insure that the furnishings and décor meet our standards.

Many owners throughout the valley rent their homes on a short-term basis during ski season.  Some offer premium on the mountain ski-in/ski-out access with gracious décor and outstanding amenities.  Others are more modest in style and price, yet provide high comfort, privacy, and value.  SkiVail.net represents the largest collection of private homes in the area.  As the units and date availabilities change frequently, no list information is provided here.  However, when discussing your specific needs, our agents will be happy to review all rental options including lodges, condos and local private homes, as appropriate.
